He is the Health Program Manager for the State of Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds in Madison, and is involved in many social initiatives that help make the residents of Dane County healthy. Immunization Updates COVID Vaccine FAQ With new formulations, booster dose updates, expiration date extensions, and more across the three COVID vaccine manufacturers, vaccine providers probably have questions. Luckily, the Immunization Action Coalition is there to answer them! Check out the COVID section of the Ask the Experts page here. Health Equity Vaccine Resources for Providers Vaccine Resource Hub has educational materials to help you promote COVID and influenza vaccination in your community, including this video with Whoopi Goldberg. Promoting Immunization Mass Vax Planning Tool Providers across the state are planning COVID vaccination clinics. CDC has a tool that helps providers plan, staff, and organize a mass vaccination event. The tool can help you plan the number of vaccinators and support staff you will need, as well as materials needed and suggested layouts. Vaccine Confidence CDC in partnership with the VA has a module for health care providers to help build confidence in vaccines and address vaccine hesitancy with patients. Healthcare providers are trusted resources, and we can help patients decide to get vaccinated. Maternal Vaccination Women in Government (WIG) has a webinar discussing challenges to maternal vaccination and opportunities for promoting vaccination among pregnant women at the state level. In the Media New Book Promotes Vaccination by Addressing Common Concerns Dr. Martin Myers, a longtime expert in infectious disease, has published a book in an attempt to address the many questions and concerns that people have about vaccines.
