What We Do
The Dane County Immunization Coalition works to increase immunization rates by increasing education and access to life-saving vaccinations.
How we do it.
We communicate to the public the importance of immunizations, promote immunization recommendations, support partnerships among community groups, healthcare providers, businesses, and other agencies, educate providers about immunization practices, and promote policies that can improve immunization rates.
Join us on our mission.
Educational Meetings
We hold quarterly educational meetings that are open to everyone. These meetings feature experts providing education on a vaccine-related topic. These speakers often encourage feedback from attendees and they are a great opportunity to engage with other pro-vaccine people!
Newsletter
We send out a quarterly newsletter featuring information on vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases. Topics include new vaccines, recommendations, changes to the schedules, tips on improving vaccine rates, and links to vaccination resources.
Volunteer
The Dane County Immunization Coalition helps support community vaccination events, such as the ones hosted by area school districts and the annual Back 2 School Haircutz for Kids event.
