Elaine Rosenblatt, Community Member

Elaine Rosenblatt is a retired Nurse Practitioner and former Chair of the Dane County
Immunization Coalition (DCIC). In her role at University Hospital and Clinics in the Internal
Medicine Clinic she practiced primary care with a specialty in travel health. In this position,
along with being a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, University of
Wisconsin-Madison she taught nurse practitioner students, medical residents and medical
students. She’s lectured to physicians, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses,
support staff and the public on multiple topics. including travel medicine, and immunizations.
She was also the Director of Quality and Care Management at Quartz Health Insurance for 15
years. Elaine sits on the DCIC Board of Directors, the American Travel Health Nurses
Association (ATHNA) Board of Directors and the University League Board of Directors. She has
been an active member of these organizations for many years.
