Brian Stamm, Employee Trust Funds
VICE CHAIR
Brian Stamm is the Deputy Director of the Office of Strategic Health Policy at Wisconsin’s Department of Employee Trust Funds. In this role, he oversees healthcare benefits for approximately 245,000 State and Local government employees across Wisconsin. His career is a unique blend of expertise as an infectious disease epidemiologist and seasoned healthcare leader, integrating knowledge in healthcare business, policy, quality, and data analytics. With over a decade of success in driving transformative initiatives across diverse health sectors, he is dedicated to enhancing healthcare quality, implementing best practices in healthcare operations, and advancing public health.
Brian’s professional journey includes experience in pharmacy retail, a university-based health and behavioral health clinic, and a health insurance provider. He earned his undergraduate degree in Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Master of Business Administration with dual concentrations in Health Sector Management and Leadership and Organizational Transformation from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Additionally, he completed a Master of Public Health with a focus on Infectious Disease and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
A notable advocate for immunization programs, Brian designed and operated an award-winning program recognized by the Massachusetts Public Health Department as the 2014 Massachusetts Adult Immunization Champion. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Dane County Immunization Coalition board, championing the importance of vaccinations for public health.
